Setting Up Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
In this guide, you'll learn how to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) in Clear Finance Cloud to enhance your account's security. By enabling 2FA, you'll add an extra layer of protection, ensuring that only you can access your account, even if someone else gets hold of your password.
Go to your profile settings in Clear Finance Cloud.

Click Settings under your profile.

Select Profile settings.

In the profile settings, navigate to Security options.

Locate the two-factor authentication (2FA) option.

Click Enable 2FA to start the setup process.

Confirm your selection by checking the checkbox.

Decide how you'd like to receive your 2FA code: via phone or email.

If you choose phone, click Phone Setup.

Enter your phone number when prompted.

Request the OTP after entering your phone number.

Once you receive the OTP, enter it to activate phone-based 2FA.

You'll see a confirmation that 2FA is now enabled for your phone number.

From now on, each time you log in, you'll need to enter the OTP sent to your phone.
To set up email-based 2FA, click Email Setup.

Enter your email ID.

Confirm your email ID.
Click Get OTP.

Check your email for the OTP and enter it.
After entering the OTP, your email-based 2FA will be activated.

That's it! You've successfully enabled two-factor authentication for both your phone number and email ID, adding a robust layer of security to your Clear Finance Cloud account.
