Register GSTIN and Link NIC API Credentials

In this tutorial, you'll learn how to add a new GSTL to Clear Tags and the respective NIC API credentials. You'll also learn how to create them on the government portal and add them into Clear Tags.

Navigate to the E invoicing E wallet product.

Go to Settings.

Find the Business Setting.

Add a new business.

Save the new business.

Verify that the GST reflects under your PAN or respective business.

Navigate to API Credentials.

Log into the government portal.

Visit the portal and go to Invoicing Enablement if it's a new GSTN registration.

Proceed to Portal Login.

Create a username and password.

Use the generated username and password to log in.

Complete the registration for two-factor authentication or undertaking statement.

Navigate to API Registration on the E Invoice 1 portal dashboard.

Find and click on Create API User.

Register through GSP Government Suvita provider.

Choose your GSPF clear tax.

Declare your username with the prefix of AP underscore and the respective chosen password.

Go back to Clear Text and click on Add API Credentials.

Choose the respective GSTN and click on Continue.

Log in to the NIC username page.

Provide the NIC API username and password.

Save the username and password.

That's it! You've now added a new GST into the Clear Tags business and added its respective NIC API credentials.
