Notice Management: Tools & Workflow for GST Compliance
This article will guide you through the process of managing and reviewing notices using the Notice Management feature. By the end of this tutorial, you'll be able to navigate through all relevant details of issued notices, apply filters, and manage cases effectively.
Step 1:
Start by reviewing all relevant details of the notices issued to you on the Pan view screen. Notice Management organizes all related notices under a single case for easy access.

Check the reference ID for each case.

Find the form name of each case.

Identify the case source. It could be under the Additional Notices and Orders or Notices and Orders section.

Determine the case type. It could be a scrutiny of returns case, a determination of tax case, or an informational notice type.

Check the status of the case. It could be pending on action from you, the department, or closed altogether.
Toggle through different cases to see open cases, overdue cases, time-critical cases, and closed cases.

Apply filters to search for specific reference IDs or form names to narrow down your search.

On the GSTIN level screen, cases are organized like emails. Open or unread cases are shown in bold font, while reviewed or read cases are in regular font.

Click on a case to review it on the case level screen.

Review all notices issued for that case in reverse chronological order. Find all notices and replies issued in the Activity center.

View attachments from the right pane of the screen.
Check the audit trail for updates and add any comments for reviewing or collaboration.

Add any notices not issued on the GST portal.

Manually add and upload documents corresponding to your working documents or any notice data produced as part of a personal hearing. Associate documents to a particular reply.

Clear Notice Management automatically assigns a case current state based on the status reflected on the GST portal. If the data seems incorrect, edit it manually.
User edits are captured in the audit tree for reconciliation.
Add a new reply for any replies done as part of a personal hearing but not on the GST portal.
Organize your data in the attachment section in a folder format and link cases in Clear Notice Management.
View the entire trail of a case from a scrutiny of returns case to a determination of tax case to an appeal case and beyond in a single view.
Download all notices corresponding to a case in a single click.
Add manual notices not issued on the GST portal through the Actions menu on the Pan or GST High Level view screen.
Download all cases for a particular Pan or GSTI using the Generate Report functionality.
Retain any filters applied to select the specific set of cases you're interested in reviewing with your team.
