Timezone

You can choose to send your data to ClearTax in either Malaysia timezone (MYT) or Universal time coordinated (UTC) through a setting change on the ClearTax web portal.

  • By default, UTC timezone is selected on the web portal.

  • This means whenever you send the e-invoicing data to ClearTax, ClearTax will process the date & time in UTC.

  • Additionally, you will see the date & time reported in UTC in your Import History, Document details page, Print and reports.

  • You can change the timezone setting to MYT using the above setting.

  • Navigate to Settings > Timezone inside the ClearTax webportal.

  • Once this selection is made, ClearTax will process the date & time received from you in MYT.

  • You will also start seeing the date & time on different surfaces in MYT, such as Import history, print, document details page, reports.
