Link NIC API Credentials for IRP Compliance
In this guide, you'll learn how to set up invoicing, enable local settings, and add API credentials for your business. By the end of this tutorial, you'll have successfully registered your NIC API credentials and linked them to your GSTN, ensuring seamless integration with the IRP API.
Navigate to the Settings page from your dashboard. This is where you'll configure the foundational settings for your business operations.

Go to the API Credential Settings section. This is where you'll manage and add new API credentials for your GSTN.

Click on the Add API button. This action will initiate the process of adding new API credentials

Select the business for which you're adding the GSTN or API credential. Ensure you're choosing the correct business entity to avoid any discrepancies.

Click on Continue to move forward in the setup process.

Enter your login details when prompted. This step ensures secure access to your account.

Provide all the required details accurately. Double-check the information to avoid errors during the setup.

The system will ask for your NIC username. This is a mandatory field, so ensure you have it ready.

Generate your API credentials from the government website. Once you've created them, click on the link labeled click here to proceed.

Enter your API username and password in the respective fields. These credentials are essential for authentication.

After entering your credentials, review the information for accuracy.

Click on Save to register your API credentials. This action will store your credentials securely in the system.

A confirmation message will indicate that your API credentials have been successfully registered.

Your GSTN is now linked and verified with the NIC. This step ensures compliance and readiness for invoicing.

You're now ready to proceed with the IRP API. This integration allows seamless communication with the government portal.

Refresh the page to ensure all your changes have been saved and are reflected correctly.

Verify that your GSTN API credentials have been successfully added. A confirmation message will appear on the screen.
