Notice Management: Handling & Responding for GST compliance
In this guide, you'll discover how to efficiently use the Clear Notice Management feature to review, track, and manage notices across GST, ITR, and TDS for your business. Follow these steps to streamline your notice management process.
Click on the Notice Management icon on your Clear Compliance Cloud Landing page.

Clear Notice Management is divided into three sections: GST Notice Management, ITR Notice Management, and TDS Notice Management. Toggle between these sections as needed.

TDS notices can be issued on the Traces portal and the ITR portal using your TAN login.


The Organizational Notice Management interface is consistent across all tax types.

At the top level, the Leadership view provides an overview of all open notices. Review the number of overdue cases, the amount in demand at risk, time-critical cases, and other cases due beyond 15 days.

Check how many cases are pending on you, awaiting a response from the department, or at the appeal stage or beyond post adjudication.
To review data for a specific PAN, click View.

Sync your notices by clicking the Actions menu and selecting Sync with GSTN.
During the first sync, your username and password are saved. Enter the captcha to complete the sync.

To review notices for a specific PAN, click View next to the PAN.

To check for new notices since the last sync, use the Actions menu and click Sync with GSTN.

View all notices related to all GSTs within a PAN on a single screen. Click on a specific GST to see notices issued for that GST.

To check for new notices since the last sync, perform a new sync from the Actions menu by clicking Sync with GSTN.

After syncing, all notices are automatically fetched to the screen with key details for quick review.
Notice Management organizes notices as cases, making it easier to track and manage them effectively.
