Learn how to Add DSC, credentials, User Access Management and update credentials from Clear TDS
Various Activities you can perform are as follows:
- "Contact Master" - Add or Update the contact details for sending TDS certificates.
- "Credentials" - Add or Update IncomeTax, TRACES & Reporting Portal.
- Business Settings: Add TAN/Dedutor details from the Business settings
- DSC Configuration: Configuration of eDocu signer - Digital Signature File procured from eMudra. Signature file shall be used for signing TDS certificates like Form 16/16A/27D.
- User Access: Control the user access to PANs, TANs and also to Salary and Non-salary forms.
- You can update your "profile" like Name, password, Profile Picture and contact no
- You can update your "Workspace" like name, GSTIN, Company LOGO, Business address and Legal Name.

Credentials
Maintain all your deductee and collectee contact details to share the TDS certificates at one place.
One can add details in bulk via excel upload, modify & update or delete the contact details.

Case 1: If you wants to add single contact, click on add single contact.

Once a you will click on Add single contact, a dashboard will open and have to fill details like Name, PAN, Email ID, Phone No and email option and then click on "continue"
Case 2: If you wants to add contacts in Bulk, click on add Bulk contact
Steps to guide to add bulk contact:
Step 1: Download the template by clicking on option “Download contact template and add data”

Step 2: Prepare the template by adding details like Name, PAN, Email ID, Phone No and email option.

In that excel sheet NAME, PAN , EMAIL, EMAIL options are mandatory to fill rest are optional.
Email option means : they want to send emails to receiver in TO, CC or BCC.
Step 3: Upload the sheet by clicking on “Select a .xlsx file to import” and all data is uploaded.

Credentials are stored in KMS of AWS securely. Credentials of TRACES, IT Portal and Reporting Portal are stored at each TAN level.
Credentials can be reused only within the platform, one can't view or download the passwords. This will help in avoiding the misuse.

- Business Settings: Add TAN/Dedutor details from the Business settings

You can add TAN using conso files or manually filling the deductor details.
Steps to guide:
- 1.Select "All TANs" tab under Business settings

- 2.Click on Add Business > Add New TAN.
Option 1 - with no conso file: Click on Add new TAN

Step 1: Select PAN under which TAN wants to be created, Enter deductor name, enter TAN and Branch
Step 2: Click on “Save and continue”

Step 3: TAN will get added under the selected PAN, then click on 'Edit' option corresponding to the newly added TAN and fill in the deductor details.

Step 4: Once you have filled required information and then Click on save

Option 2 - with conso file: Click on Add new TAN
Upload the conso file, PAN > TAN > Deductor details will get captured. Click on add “import.tds file”.

Admin can provide the below access to the users
- 1.Admin access for TAN / PAN - Complete control over TAN / PAN
- 2.Data preparation access for TAN / PAN - User can perform all the activities like Admin, but can not generate FVU file
- 3.Salary Admin access for TAN / PAN - Complete control over Form 24Q for the TANs / PANs
- 4.Non-Salary Admin access for TAN / PAN - Complete control over Form 26Q, 27Q and 27EQ for the TANs / PANs
- 5.Salary Data prepartion access for TAN / PAN - User can perform all the activities like Salary Admin, but can not generate FVU file.
- 6.Non-Salary Admin access for TAN / PAN - User can perform all the activities like Non-salary Admin, but can not generate FVU file
Above access can be provided separately for each TANs and PANs.
Steps to guide how to add/invite users to their existing entities
- 1.Go to settings
- 2.Go to user access under the global settings

- 3.Select on invite user

- 4.Once you will click on invite user, you have to enter user details like: Name, email, choose product- for which product you want to give access TDS,GST, MaxITC etc, then choose a role

- 5.Choose Entity, for which entity they want to give access and then click on invite user.

Once you click on invite user, notification will be received that “User invite sent successfully via email”. Sender will receive the mail with the subject name: Invitation to join xxxx sent.

Note: for that user for whose receiver invite is sent, he/she will go to their mail and accept that invite.
Receiver will receive mail with the subject name : Invitation to join Clear - xxxxxx

Add DSC (.pfx file) for signing their certificates like Form 16/16A/27D. User must use DSC type - "eDocu signer". Token-based DSC is not compatible.
Step 1: Go to settings
Step 2: Go to DSC Configuration under the Global Settings
Step 3: Upload your eDocu signer certificate.

You can update your Workspace like workspace name, GSTIN, Company LOGO, Business address and Legal Name.
Steps to Guide:

Step 2: Go to Workspace under the Global Settings
Step 3: Click on Edit
Step 4: Update the Name, password and contact no
Step 5: Click on “Save Changes”


You can update your profile like Name, password, Profile Picture and contact no but you can’t update emailID.

Step 5: Click on “Save Changes”
