Add ClearTax as an intermediary on MyInvois portal

This document covers the prerequisite to start generating e-Invoicing using an intermediary.
Businesses need to declare ClearTax as an intermediary with necessary permissions on their respective MyInvois profile. This will enable businesses to use their respective TIN & BRN for the purpose of e-invoice generation via ClearTax.
This needs to be done separately for both the pre-production & production environments separately. The MyInvois portal links for both the environments can be found below:

MyTax - Production environment
Login to your MyTax Portal
Click on “Role selection” on the portal
Select “Directors of company” and click on your company name e.g. Defmacro Sdn Bhd
Once this is done, click on the “MyInvois Portal” on the top pane and enter the MyInvois Portal
On the top right-hand side of the MyInvois portal, select the profile dropdown, then select “View Taxpayer profile”
This step grants access to the customer to view the taxpayer’s profile information
Scroll down to the taxpayer profile page, and click on the “Intermediary” tab under Representatives to view the Intermediary representatives.
Click on an “Intermediaries” tab to view the respective Intermediary information.
Click on “Add Intermediary”
Enter TIN, BRN & Name of the intermediary
Click on search icon and then click on “Continue”
Modify the “Representation From” and “Representation To” dates as per your contract with ClearTax
Modify the permission using the toggle button and give all the permissions to ClearTax to perform e-invoicing actions on your behalf.
Click on “Add Intermediary” button
Click on the “Intermediaries” tab to view the respective Intermediary information added for ClearTax.
