# Delete imported data

* You can choose to delete the imported data on ClearTax platform before e-invoice generation in case you identify any issues with the imported data.
* Please note that this activity can only be performed on the documents that are in “Not Generated” state.
* You can bulk select the documents that need to be deleted, click on the “Actions” dropdown and then select the “Delete” option.
* You will see a modal pop-up screen to validate your action since this action cannot be undone.
* Once you click on the “Delete” button, the selected and eligible documents will get deleted from the “Sales dashboard” page.
  * Eligible documents are the ones on which the delete action can be performed such as documents in “Not generated” state only.<br>
