# How to Update Phone Number?

In this tutorial, you'll learn how to update your phone number in the ClearTax CFC workspace. Keeping your contact information up-to-date ensures you don't miss important updates or notifications. Follow these steps to make the change quickly and easily.

Open the ClearTax CFC workspace and navigate to the **Clear Finance Cloud** tab.

Locate and click on **Settings** in the navigation menu. This is where you'll find all the configuration options for your account.

Within the **Settings** menu, select the **Profile setting** option. This section contains all the personal details associated with your account.

In the **Settings** tab, go to **My profile**. This is where your personal information, including your phone number, is stored.

Scroll through the **My profile** section until you find the **Phone number** field. This is the field you'll be updating.

To begin the update process, click on **Change phone number**. This will open a new interface for entering your updated contact details.

Enter your new phone number in the provided field. Make sure to double-check the number for accuracy to avoid any issues.

Once you've entered your new number, click on **Proceed** to move to the next step. This action will initiate the verification process.

An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your new phone number. Enter the OTP in the verification field to confirm the change.

After successfully verifying the OTP, your new phone number will be saved. You'll see a confirmation message indicating that your phone number has been updated.
