Learn how to create a new custom template, edit an already existing custom template for importing your invoice data.
Select Settings Panel section and open it. You can find this on the left-side panel on your screen.
You can locate these under E-Invoicing and EWB settings
Select the business for which to want to create/edit a template
Click on "New Template" icon if you want to create a fresh template. Learn how to edit an existing template here
Upload the file containing invoice details. The ClearTax software supports XLSX, CSV, XLS and XLSM formats.
Map the columns of your template with that of ClearTax standard template. The columns marked as "Required" are mandatory to map. Click on "Save Template" once you are done mapping them.
Choose a suitable name for your template for future reference.
Follow the below steps to edit an already existing template.
Select the business whose template you want to edit.
Select the custom template you want to edit. Then click on "Edit Template" icon in front of it.
Make the desired changes to it and click on the "save template" icon on the top once you are done.
