# How do I create API creds if my GSTIN is already registered?

In case your GSTIN is already registered with ClearIRP, then in the registration flow when you check for eligibility of eInvoicing for the GSTIN, you’ll be redirected to the login page.

Login to the ClearIRP account using the username (GSTIN) and password

#### If API credentials are not created:

1. An OTP is sent to the registered email addresses and phone number for verification. Enter the OTP and click on Continue

2. Enter the API username and password. Confirm the password and click on Save and submit. The credentials will be created in ClearIRP and saved on Clear eInvoicing product as well.

#### In case the API credentials are already created:

1. API username and password (masked) will be shown. The user can change the API credentials password by clicking on Change password.

2. An OTP is sent to the registered email addresses and phone number for verification. Enter the OTP and click on Continue

3\. The username is auto populated and can’t be edited. Enter the new password and confirm it and click on Save and submit. The new API credentials will be saved for the GSTIN.
