# Filtering expiring e-Way bills

This will help in filtering e-Way bills that are expiring from the web portal easily and then extend them

There are always some e-Way bills that are expiring on a certain day. There should be a way to easily filter them, check and extend the required ones.

### **Step 1: Land on e-Way bills page**

From the left menu click on 'E-way bills' to land on the View E-way bills page. 

You will be able to see the list of invoices with E-way bill details (if available) for the last one week by default.

### Step 2: Check the EWBs that are expiring on the screen

On the e-Way bills page you can check the list of e-Way bills that are expiring today. In the EWB Validity field you will see 'Expiring Today' in red and bold against the e-Way bills that are expiring on the same day.

### Step 3: Filter based on EWB Validity

On the left there are multiple filters available based on which e-Way bills can be filtered.

Validity filter can be used to e-Way bills in 3 different validity conditions:

1. Expiring Today
2. Expiring Tomorrow
3. Based on a EWB validity date range

### Step 4: Setting the EWB Validity filter to 'Expires Today'

Selecting the option of '**Expires Today**' in the EWB Validity filter will filter out and display all the e-Way bills that are expiring on the same day.

The filter can also be modified to check the e-Way bills that are expiring tomorrow or a future date for planning operations better.
