# Introduction to Max ITC API

Congratulations! You have decided to automate your ITC journey with ClearMaxITC APIs. This documentation will give you a step-by-step guide to seamlessly integrate your app or ERP with our APIs. 

## MaxITC Product guide

If you are a developer with limited knowledge of the MaxITC product and features, we recommend you go through the [product guide](https://docs.cleartax.in/product-help-and-support/for-large-businesses/clearmax-itc/get-started-with-clearmax-itc) and log in to the MaxITC product to experience the features before getting started. You can ask your Tax team or ClearTax integrations support team to give you a quick demo. 

In a nutshell, the MaxITC product will help your organization to,

* **Reconcile and Track ITC**

  Help you seamlessly reconcile your purchase invoices with GTR2A or 2B and avoid any manual intervention associated with running this reconciliation. The AI-enabled reconciliation maximizes the match rate and hence maximizes your ITC
* **Vendor Recovery**

  Recover your ITC from Vendors by reminding the vendor to upload invoices & blocking their payments until they upload invoices
* **Max ITC Dashboard**

  View insightful and actionable reports 
* **GSTR3B**

  Once you have reconciled invoices, we will auto-fill most of the sections in the GSTR3B to help you file the return seamlessly 

## MaxITC ERP Integrations

MaxITC ERP Integrations lets your organization do the following activities directly from your ERP 

* Ingest purchase invoices to ClearTax
* Trigger or schedule reconciliation (either 2A or 2B) to a pre-decided frequency *Eg. weekly/monthly*
* Get reconciliation results in your ERP

ClearTax offers 2 variants for MaxITC ERP Integrations.

1. Series Y
2. Series Z

### Series Y

With MaxITC Series Y integration, your organization can

* Ingest purchase invoices to ClearTax 
* Trigger or schedule reconciliation
* Get reconciliation results back to the ERP

Enabling Series Y integration requires additional development and APIs. It has specific async flows, wait times, and additional error-handling requirements. This is covered in later sections of this documentation.

### Series Z

With MaxITC Series Z integration, your organization can

* Ingest purchase invoices to ClearTax 
* Trigger or schedule reconciliation
* Get reconciliation results back to the ERP
* Automatic Payment blocking in ERP
