This page describes the step by step generation of a consolidated E-way bill
A consolidated E-way bill is generated when the transporter is carrying multiple consignments in a single vehicle. Consolidated E-way bill allows the transporter to carry a single document, instead of a separate document for each consignment in a conveyance.
Step 1: Login to ClearTax
Login with user credentials
Step 2: Click on View and Manage EWBs

Step 3: Select GSTIN/branch and land on view all EWBs page

Viewing all IRN / invoices and E-way bills present
Step 5: Search E-way bills that are in Generated/Part A status
Click on the downward error next to ‘EWB Status’ to open up the search box.

In the search box please enter ‘Generated’ status to be searched and then click on ‘Search’ to view the filtered results

Step 7: Select invoices / IRNs for which Consolidated E-way bill has to be generated
Select the list of invoices / IRNs for which a consolidated E-way bill has to be created.
Please ensure that the EWB status of all are the same and that is either ‘Generated’ or ‘Part A’.
Please ensure that the ‘Transporter ID’, ‘Transporter Mode’ and ‘Vehicle Details’ are same for the selected IRNs

Step 7: Generate Consolidated E-way Bill
Click on ‘Generate’ after selecting the required IRNs / invoices and then select the 2nd option i.e. ‘Generate CEWB’
