Common Issues Faced

Q-> Facing Error in canceling IRN, (if EWB created with the same IRN)

  • Please Cancel the EWB with the given IRN first and then try to cancel the IRN

Q-> Facing Issue in generating IRN with same invoice no of an already cancelled E-invoice.

  • Currently, It is not possible to generate IRN again with the same invoice no, because IRN is already generated for the same in NIC (govts) database. It is a limitation from govt and not Cleartax.

    To resolve this you have to upload the invoice again with a diff invoice number and generate IRN again.
