To register on Peppol network, the ClearTax team will enable your registration using the information below:

1. Organization legal name

2. VAT number/CBE number

Basis the provided information, a Peppol Participant ID is created for your business. This ID is your unique, public address on the network- it functions like a phone number for e-invoicing. In Belgium, this ID is typically based on your VAT number.

ClearTax, as your Access Point, registers this new ID in the Peppol Directory (SMP - Service Metadata Publisher) on your behalf. This registration makes your business "discoverable" to all other participants on the network, enabling them to send e-invoices to you.

View Your Peppol Configuration

After the registration is complete, you can view your active Peppol configuration on the public peppol directory- https://directory.peppol.eu/public..

Here, you can search by your peppol id or company legal name and see your details.

This ID is the single most important piece of information for receiving invoices. You must now share this Peppol ID with all your suppliers and request that they send all future e-invoices to this address.
